WordPress wp_actionscheduler_actions’ doesn’t exist problem : Reason for the database problem and how to resolve it
WordPress users have recently been experiencing this problem when they try to install and activate plugins that rely on action scheduler function. Upon the installation, users receive an error message that appears at the top part of the website saying “wp_actionscheduler_actions’ doesn’t exist”.
The reason for the problem
The reason for wp_actionscheduler_actions problem is that the database misses action scheduler tables and the wordpress system is unable to create these tables despite request by plugins.
How to solve the problem
1- Deactivate all plugins
2- Install action scheduler plugin and activate it
3- Navigate to “tools > action scheduler”. If you see the notices below, you should wait for awhile and refresh the page. Once these notices disappear, it means the plugin has completed table creation.
- Action Scheduler migration in progress.
- The list of scheduled actions may be incomplete.
- It appears one or more database tables were missing.
- Attempting to re-create the missing table(s)
4- Re-activate your plugins.
